Affirmation of stereotype. White Tonka parking. Bus stop parking and headlights on.

Thing is, its so wide its tempting to use as a drive to squeeze the car on (even if it'll never fit). Why is it so wide there I wonder? I can't image the council letting them get away with that for long.

My neighbours' visitors do this - completely blocking the pavement for pedestrians when there's room elsewhere - inconsiderate idiots shoot

Standard procedure on my local roads,
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.3204589,-0.17027...

Should see it in the evenings when people get home from work! You could probably walk over 30 + cars

3 Bed semis, mum and dad have a car or two then the older kids also have cars, meanwhile most front gardens have only room for 1 car, shared access drives between houses, garages full of junk (not cars) Welcome to the UK!

Should see the chaos when the bus tries to get down the road frown

Would love to see the owner's reaction if you wore a pair of dark glasses and started tapping all over the car with a white stick.

Or just shinned up onto the roof, across, and down the other side.

People who park like that are Grade 8 on the pink oboe.

Council won't be interested. It's a police matter. Call 101.

Too lazy to walk?

Or is the Van having something fitted by the We Fit team where they ask you to park near the door?
TBH if you stick a van like that in square it's likely you won't have enough room to swing out if cars park both sides.

My Transit's the next size up and spaces like that would be a doddle, especially if you bothered to reverse in.

But you would have a hard time opening the doors fully IF a member of staff was fitting a new radio or Battery?

Not only that, but parking is plentiful and dirt cheap in Altrincham, so there's no excuse.
Parking in Altrincham is a nightmare at the best of times, certainly not plentiful although it is cheap if a) you can find any and b) you don't get leapt on by a traffic warden the second the time expires, dreadful place for parking IMO.

I'm losing count on this one! Let's see . . . . . hmmm, well there's three parked within 10m of a junction; two parked directly opposite a junction; one obstructing a junction; one parked on the kerb; and if it had been there overnight, one parked facing the wrong way. All in one ickle photo!
