That really nips my tits. What an absolute pole smoker.
Thing is, its so wide its tempting to use as a drive to squeeze the car on (even if it'll never fit). Why is it so wide there I wonder? I can't image the council letting them get away with that for long.Edited by budgie smuggler on Thursday 4th February 10:31

My neighbours' visitors do this - completely blocking the pavement for pedestrians when there's room elsewhere - inconsiderate idiots Standard procedure on my local roads,

Should see it in the evenings when people get home from work! You could probably walk over 30 + cars
3 Bed semis, mum and dad have a car or two then the older kids also have cars, meanwhile most front gardens have only room for 1 car, shared access drives between houses, garages full of junk (not cars) Welcome to the UK!
Should see the chaos when the bus tries to get down the road

TBH if you stick a van like that in square it's likely you won't have enough room to swing out if cars park both sides.Johnnytheboy said:

My Transit's the next size up and spaces like that would be a doddle, especially if you bothered to reverse in. MikeT66 said:
Not only that, but parking is plentiful and dirt cheap in Altrincham, so there's no excuse.
Parking in Altrincham is a nightmare at the best of times, certainly not plentiful although it is cheap if a) you can find any and b) you don't get leapt on by a traffic warden the second the time expires, dreadful place for parking IMO.jamescodriver said:
I'm losing count on this one! Let's see . . . . . hmmm, well there's three parked within 10m of a junction; two parked directly opposite a junction; one obstructing a junction; one parked on the kerb; and if it had been there overnight, one parked facing the wrong way. All in one ickle photo!Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
