That's expensive. I'd have added "many thanks" and filled up me little motor with as much as it could take. Seriously though, out of order - a "mistake" my A! shoot

Wouldn't BiB have got it moved or would it be a civil matter?

When I have worked in London I have in past been able to book a space on someones drive. I paypal the money and I have space from 8am-6pm, often as little as £5 when carparks nearby are £25+. Have a look on Parkopedia.

I don't condone the mistake, houses do have numbers or names on them after all.

I'm sure I saw an article somewhere about a householder who had some twunt park in their drive to go on holiday. It was near one of the big airports. I seem to remember BiB only got involved when the householder blocked the dhead's access to the road. When it was someone parking on a private drive, it was a "civil matter sir". As soon as the poor householder threatened to have it moved, or blocked it in, it was a "potential criminal matter".

Too many fkwits parking where they like, never challenged by anyone with the authority to punish them or move them on. All this does is builds the sense of entitlement in those who behave badly, and they keep on doing it. I imagine if the householder in this case put a 'bed of nails' homemade spike strip on her empty driveway, the miscreant parker would have complained to plod and she would have been up before the bench on criminal damage charges.

In my opinion, anyone 'accidentally' damaging a vehicle parked so as to obstruct a footway, cycle lane, or junction should receive immunity from prosecution for said damage. Park like a tt and you (and your precious mowtahhhh) deserve everything you get... tongue out

Bit of starting-point blurb, and the scanned brochure it's from, here

It's OK he has his hazards on.

It was abandoned in the "Drop off point" when I went into Tescos and there when I left, despite absolutely loads of spaces in the car park, mind you it's another 10-15 metres further away.

This one bowles in half blocking the walkway and abandons it.

And another space gone, mind you it's a big car.

When I parked a slightly bigger car was parked there and they managed to get in and out OK. Oh well.

what is the law vis-a-vis 'abandoned' cars or things like this? Is it trespass? What?

"The offender in this case claims to have made a genuine error and got confused about which house he should be parking in front of."

How does that work, someone says you can park in front of my house, and they forget who it was, right....

This prize plum in the Crown Point Retail Park in Leeds this morning

Did you ever consider that this wasn't bad parking and actually cleverly thought through to deter others from parking next to me and banging their doors against my new car....I'm guessing not based on my assumption on your low level of intelligence, wondering round taking pictures of cars you'll never own. All the best you sad sad person...regards, prize plum smile
At least when someone keys the sh*t out of every single panel of your exceptionally prestigious and rare motor-carriage, you'll know why.
