I haven't seen those before

It's a bit patronising isn't it?

Wouldn't it be better to just have the spaces reserved under another name for anyone who was concerned with their safety or felt vulnerable, rather than just plastering 'WOMEN' across them?

You are right, they are spaces closer to the doors for women who feel vulnerable walking through a car park. I do think it should be for anyone who feels vulnerable, rather than singling out women.

The labeling of "Women and Disabled" just looks odd also.

I'm surprised the feminazi's haven't ended this obvious and calculated attempt by male line painters to smear and demean women around the world. Yet another example of oppression.

Not bad parking as such, but I am not sure where else to put it.

I have no idea what Mini in Oxford are trying to say here!

That all women are "mental" drivers? getmecoat

Sticks.

They're not much use as disabled spaces, not being any wider. Could you get between those two cars in a wheelchair?

Then every able bodied macho male driver would probably nick it to save a walk to the door. biggrin

Two recent Tesco ones, unfortunately no pics.

Tesco Bedford - I wanted to collect my wife but a car parked 6 feet behind another car (ie taking up two spaces) meant I was sticking out a bit until a space further up became available. The woman who driver eventually came out of Tesco, got in the car sat for a while then got out and went back into the store. As I pulled past I saw hubby / partner / brother in the passenger seat. So just plain lazy.

Tesco nr Villa Park - apparently a yellow wheelchair in a space means "park your transit van here"

So many cars parked like this lately,I don't often bother taking pictures. This one quite
Annoyed me this evening during a quick trip to the local shop, giving me no option but to take my pushchair into the road.
About 2 mins before this my son stumbled from his scooter into a vx corsa parked on the pavement. I was waiting for the young chap sitting in it to say something but he didn't.

This bloke's a bit of a plum. It's an old shonky beemer not something decent. I should have parked my scooter in the gap.

At least he's not inconveniencing anyone else though. Unusual, but not selfish like most of the parking in this thread.

I have to agree, not doing any harm and even if it is an "old shonky beemer" it's obviously his P&J.
