We were packing up our stuff after a day trip to Durham when this knuckledragger just dumps his clown car right in front of us and shambles off towards the footbridge, presumably looking for the tree his parents live in.

Thing is, there were lots of spaces right next to the bridge, he could have saved himself some time and not looked like a complete douchenozzle.
Surprised he didn't call for a taxi to reach the kerb.

I bet they parked to give someone a ticket for parking on... a double yellow! Well, they did leave an 18 inch gap so one could see the lines sonar
If they are on a 'Job', they can park where they like, right?

I thought (wrongly?) that the OP put this up due to the fact they'd parked 20 foot (ish..) away from the pavement rather than being on yellow lines.

Spotted this considerate bit of parking from the local law enforcement. Parked on a yellow line, not sure if thats permitted depending on time of day etc. But the annoying thing is that coming out of this car park you have to turn right as it's one way and narrow. So trying to negate the back of the Police car wasn't particularly easy, hence the yellow line I assume.

Now if this was official Police duty I'd shrug it off that maybe they had to urgently park up but seeing the Police office swaggering back with her Sainsbury's shopping I thought was a bit of a p!ss take.
I saw them doing the same yesterday, first in Sainsburys, then the KFC next door

Walking the dog yesterday a corsa is parked fully on the pavement with only room to shuffle past, two fat chav women in it eating their lunch, I looked at them and shook my head, "what you shaking your fking head at" one says "pavements are for pedestrians not your car" I say. "There is room you got past didn't you, your arse isn't that fat is it" she says.

Now I often have thought of things to say after the event but this time it just came out

"Not compared to yours it isn't" I said

Cue much "tt, fk off, wker" etc oh how I chuckled

I know that area very well indeed. He was most likely going to the passport office which is just at that location. There is also a large multi-storey car park just under that bridge behind, so plenty of places to park ( but he would have to pay in there !)

The few extra meters to the end of the double yellows was just to much

Any winners here?

All from one single estate

And this one blocks the pavement regularly...

This one was just popping to the shops...

Not a country estate, then.

Bloody hell. See, all the poor parking and it just goes to show you could park a bloody tractor in those spaces...

Anyway, have two for the price of one, same space at a leisure centre. This one as we arrived (although on the plus side meant I could open my door fully).

Gone when we returned and replaced with this one.

Quiet roads, no parking restrictions, a few parked in the road to the left out of picture. Why park like this.

Not sure when they intend to move, but we have a lady with one of those walking frames who often passes our house.

It's someone visiting our neighbours, often does this.
