Yep - I knew the owner of the Polo so tracked them down and the Ka owner returned in time for them both to have formed a reception committee for Mr 'Spark'.

Looks like your right, what I saw obviously wasn't a separate lane, but it begs the question if all three lanes are indicated to turn right, how do you turn left.

Bad signage me thinks.

I've fked up on that roundabout before coming back from Peterborough to the M40. By the time I realized I didn't want to cut back across a lane infront of other cars with no room so just went up the M1 for a bit!

Why park on that road to my left which only goes to one residence when I can park on the pavement.

I'll only be there all day, and the next and next, (builder building someone's extension)

In Livingston yesterday, we had a demonstration of just how large and unwieldy a barge the Chevrolet Spark is when it comes to manoeuvring in a tight space. I think the old guy at the wheel of this one coped admirably with the challenge presented, despite finding it necessary to shunt the Ka forward a couple of feet to accommodate his car's bulk and having a close encounter of the paint-swapping kind with the Polo alongside it. He seemed more than satisfied with his efforts - not even a backward glance as he shuffled off towards the shops.

Also ran over a shadow on the way in.

That'll be because somebody else had gotten to the disabled spots first.

That's got really weird over engineered mirrors is it so you can hang your shopping off them?

I'm guessing it's so that you can see past the rear wheels.

Surely they are trailer mirrors, so you can see past the trailer.

Yep!

They can be folded in too but they're useful as 'cat's whiskers' so I know I can get the rear arches through gaps.
