There is often a car parked on these zig-zags. But this is only one of the congested, main routes out of (or in to, if you are that desperate) Northampton. So, that's all right, then.
It's worth noting that parking on zigzags is a (3?) points-and-(£100?) on-the-spot-fine offence - not a parking ticket - it really is taking the piss.
Very true, but you need a policeman for that, and even then, one that has the time and inclination to do anything about it.
My sister-in-law got a ban for it about six years ago.

But then she was within her first year of driving and already had three points for 80 in a 50. Someone with hindsight would say she wasn't ready for driving, but knowing her now I'd say she still wasn't ready. She's had three accidents this year alone, one a complete write off.

Parking area in busy Stonehaven, and between each car just enough room for a mini, inconsiderate barstewards, or just crap at parking.

and looking down the way.

given the standard of driving in this country I'm more than happy with that if it stops the side of my car being scraped

On Thursdays I take my lad swimming. Couple of weeks ago, in a carpark with about 80 spaces - about 5 of which were taken - we saw this....

Which was bad enough, but I'm trying to decide if this weeks effort is any better.....

Personally, I think it looks more abandoned than parked!

Doh....... I cant open the door, god give me strength.

I Think a driving test should include about 20 reverse parking episodes, all of which should be a pass.
