That would be an example of absolutely shocking, reprehensible f%^&wittery, but in fact it's all OK because it looks like they've got their hazards on Your post demonstrates once again some of the idiots on our roads these days.
Cant make it out, but are they blocking one of those raised bit of pavement for the impartially sighted to help them know where they are for crossing?

I may be being oversensitive: you said "Your post demonstrates once again some of the idiots on our roads these days", and I wasn't sure if you thought I was in any way endorsing the use of hazard lights to try and legitimise parking in f%^&ing stupid places and was therefore one of the "idiots".
Absolutely not, sorry it came across that way. Slow said:

To be fair, fking hate those spots beside the walls, you cant actually get people out that side in most car parks. Why it isnt designed to just be 3 wide spots with the pillar a few feet over is madness..
Then again I am a reversing God
Seriously, each to their own, no right and wrong.

Two things strike me.1) when me and the missis went out in islington we parked at the NCP there, it was almost empty. I found a spot exactly like that, 2 spaces on their own. I parked in between them. I am determined to keep this new car dent free for as long as possible. The last one was full of them in the end. Each time i find another bit of damage i didn't have a hand in doing a little piece of me dies inside
Having said that, if it had been busy i wouldn't have been a tosser, i'd have just accepted that something was going to happen.
2) when i worked in East London parking was at a premium, but we had 6 visitor car spaces and one of them was a designated disabled spot which was handy considering we dealt only with people who either had severe mental or physical issues.
Problem was, the spot was like that one on the left - one side right up against a wall. How is anyone with a wheelchair supposed to get out of a spot like that, especially if there is already another car by the side of it.
