Back in Nottingham on Friday, repeat offender.

You'd think someone who assumedly works for the Health and Safety Executive might be able to park you know...safely!

I'm ashamed to say this, however this was the wife's car this morning:

Aren't those V6s renowned for shambolically large turning circles too? Forgivable I suppose for the poor positioning but maybe not for using a disabled bay if there's no blue badge on show!

My missus would have left that diagonally, in the living room of the house opposite, with the engine still running, whilst simultaneously texting someone and applying make-up, after having road-raged the householder for the state of their living room which she had just demolished, before denying anything and saying "it's just a car". frown
Mmmm, apart from crashing into the lounge, that sounds remarkably like my wife, however she would be moaning that she can't find a spot to park as the neighbours have parked their two cars inconsideratly in a space big enough for four.

The scary thing was the Girl , who had just passed her test , had turned the wheels full lock and was about to reverse out ?? Which would have caused more damage

After a bit of a discussion she decided to wait for her Dad to come and move the car .

Interestingly ,her Mother turns up and starts ranting to the wife about insurance , "were not claiming " Don't take photos etc etc.
I spoke with her Dad on the Phone who seemed a decent chap , he agreed as our car was parked it was entirely the daughters fault , he couldn't see any damage , I said i'd have a look at the car when the wife brought it home and give him a call

luckily the rubber protective strip did its job ,So no damage and no claim
Dad seemed very relieved ...........

bloody glad it wasn't the E type !!

The scary thing is that the girl had passed her test, and presumably had instruction in the run up to her test. How, in the name of [insert deity of choice] can someone with such a poor grasp of vehicle control have passed the driving test?!

Blocking this gateway from an MOD training area onto the Old Guildford Road.

And one from the other side.

What's that you say? It doesn't look likely to inconvenience anyone? It's not even a through road, and it's just a succession of muddy puddles at that point anyway?

Well this...

...might prove just how much of a complete TWUNT! this driver is. "No Parking - Emergency Access". Why? It's the official ambulance RV point for this part of the training area. It's where ambulances would be met to attend casualties caused by training accidents etc. I mean, sod it. Next time I've a hospital appointment, perhaps I should park sideways across the doors to A&E? F**king selfish f**cking twunts. So long as Fido doesn't have to walk too far to take a dump, eh?
Having a guess that there was a unit exercising on the area or its the land warden.

They first parked both sides of the road but that caused access problems so the council put some cones out, they then did this.

Builders......

Looks like my old Discovery I sold years ago.

Seriously?

You think that builders should be able to lay hardcore on someone elses lands simply to provide themselves with free parking?

Why stop at builders, why shouldn't everyone have that right?
I would expect some pound notes to change hands too - someone knows that builders will be required for a while and will need to park.

There's a couple of not great parking's on there - but I don't think it's too bad. I assume there is some sort of project on the train lines going on, and these tend to be done quickly - parking is not going to be provided....

And the sign BEHIND him

And these bays here are wider than the average, the reason I always park there. Reverse in end bay, as close to the kerb as I can be, maximising room on drivers side.

If I was marshaling that car park I'd be issuing the £70 'charge' to every car parked incorrectly..

They soon dish them out for people overstaying the allotted time by 15 seconds, surely taking up 2 spaces is more 'punishable'..

Badly worded sign says you can issue a "Parking charge notice of £70". Doesn't say there's an actual charge at all, just a notice.

It snowed, they lost their minds.

Just a small sample of the many available, presumably they arrived when there was full snow cover. When we got there it had thawed and people started to park properly which then blocked people in or closed off sections of the car park.

Really wish i had taken a picture now...

Dropped the GF back to her uni house lat night, cars are parked down both sides of the street, there is room for one car only to go up or down the road.

Half way down i encounter two cars parked in the middle, engines and lights off, no one around to be seen.

Not sure if this qualifies, as it ends up straight in the space.

But the approach is something else.

I can't stand them personally, but if they're going to go to the effort of issuing them, may as well do them for everything.

I do wish supermarkets etc would police their car parks better. Selfish pricks parking in the "Drop Off only" bay are another bugbear of mine.
