I though this was a good example to set whilst in London today.

Double yellows = CHECK
2 Wheels on the pavement = CHECK
Parked 30 cm from the junction = CHECK

I could have understood if his colleague was in the Pret on the right getting supplies, but no sign of anyone in uniform there, and the driver of the X5 was just sat on his phone.

Good one, http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quis_custodiet_ipso...

Maybe the driver muttered "Mea culpa", as he put the phone down.

Those new BINIs really do look awful :-( shocking parking too.
I can understand their aim, newish PAJ not wanting dinks, but they need to park further away if they want to avoid them!

To be fair that car park does look 75% empty and you know even if you park in the remotest corner someone with sheep mentality and limited motor control when it comes to opening a door in a light breeze, WILL park next to you.

You can guarantee it unfortunately! I did an experiment in my local park and ride where i parked in the furthest corner away from the terminal and i still had shonky sheds parked next to me! Utterly bizarre mentality, you would have thought people who park like that generally want to be closer to the terminal/shop/etc - it's like they purposely go out of their way to annoy me lol!

It's as if they can#t think for themselves, so the process is 'he must have parked there for a reason, I'll park there too.'

Why unhook your trailer and use 2 spaces when you can take up 4 instead?
And have the trailer knicked. No thanks.

Perfectly reasonable parking with a trailer there imho.

Just buy four tickets - sounds fair.
