Hopefully someone will park in the road next to him, idiot. What gets me is that this is probably one of the parents there to pick their children up from the local primary (it's a short walk through the woods from there through that access point) and there are all too many that would rather block the pavement (and so force the other parents, some with very young children, pushchairs etc to have to go into the road) than park legally and partly "block" the road.

Possibly parked like that to give room to the car in the next space.Council made the space too short.
Another example of spaces not made large enough for the cars of today.
Possibly, its not about a foot from the front of the next car.
Possibly.
Twice recently I've had issues with the same person parking completely on the pavement while they pick someone up from a house.
I'm on my bike (it's shared use before anyone starts lighting their pitchforks!) and virtually impossible to get past without going into the (oncoming) road.
If I scratch their paintwork I won't feel guilty.

Just found this on my laptop from January.
This guy was incredible, stopped in front of me on Rushden High Street, popped his hazards on and then proceeded to unload at least a dozen boxes into a shop, took him 10 minutes or so. I was spitting teeth! Middle of the day too, people behind me were pretty heavy on the horn etc and he just carried on regardless. Astonishing.
