Why would anyone bother reporting it? The only damage is going to be to the car.Vipers said:
Look at the little space between the car and the bike racks thingies
Don't know how they thought they would fit in there.
But they tried with both doors open wide, whoops!
I didn't see it happen, my daughter took the after, pictures, and I took the first one. Glad it wasn't me parked next to,them.
They had to,call a tow truck to recover it. This in the car park at Drum Castle, near Banchory.

On holiday in San Francisco and the hotel valet parks my Lexus LS hire car (free upgrade). The next morning I venture down the car park ramp to get my hoodie as it's rather brisk in SF in the mornings. I'm immediately chased by a valet crew. When I get the the Lexus I see the drivers door missing and the door propped up against a concrete pillar. Said valet had reversed the car with the drivers door open and forgot about the pillar.Don't know how they thought they would fit in there.

The hotel were awaiting a replacement car from Alamo which hadn't arrived. A rather sheepish manager had been called who apologised profusely and that all my possessions would be transferred. After a day on Alcatraz and a few other places I return to find a replacement Lexus in a fetching gold/beige colour. Every one of the items in the old car had been meticulously transferred to the new car. Every half drunk bottle of water/juice/coke had been replaced with a new full bottle.
There really was no inconvenience. The hotel took full responsibility and deducted $500 from our stay.

Customer service at its finest.Standard in the US but sadly lacking in the UK.
My son in law pre booked a medium size car from Aberdeen, on arrival, about 2100, 5 passengers with pre booked cars and only 3 cars available, big screw up, they gave him a Fiat 500.Fortunately he had no baggage, but the previous week had arrived from the states with two 22kg cases and 7 year old child.
Apologies! Not really.
We arrived in Orlando once back in 2004 to do a road trip down through the Keys, first real experience of US customer service was picking the up mustang cabriolet. We were knackered and just wanted to head to the accommodation but the handover guy insisted on loading our luggage in the boot and demonstrating all the features of the car (trying to earn his tip I guess)...
In doing so he managed to park the keys in the "trunk" along with our suitcases and effectively demonstrated it's superior locking facility. We then had to wait about an hour while they hunted unsuccessfully for spare keys but eventually he and his colleagues managed to trip one of the door locks with a 'slimjim?'.
Wouldn't have minded so much, mistakes happen... but I'll admit I was a little shocked the guy still wanted a tip after all that! He acted really quite wounded over it but the only tip he got from me was instructional.

Cabot Circus in Bristol, yesterday. Pretty generous spaces as things go (my car was within the lines, but still had that gap to the lines in the pic you can see here), unfortunately busy car park + me trying to get my 11 month old in made for a very, very stressful 5 minutes (saying that, had to get a photo!)

Maybach (apparently) parked incorrect, towcar comes to tow/lift car away, but it's a bit too heavy
