Surely that's just to make it easier for them to get out? More clearance from the next car e.t.c.

Fancy a picnic by the sea but don't want to leave the comfort of your vehicle? Great view from the no parking hatchings in front of the ticket machine.

A builder-type parked on the pavement forcing pedestrians to walk on the road, you can almost see the dirty looks the eldery couple were throwing in his direction.
The Honda Jazz parked in the disabled bay is mine, so I asked the builder-type, 'Can you move your van, so I can get into my car?'

He was on the phone and whilst still talking, raised his left index finger, as if to say, 'I'm on the phone and you'll have to wait'.
He did eventually move but only forward, so still parking on the pavement.

I haven't checked the whole thread - for obvious reasons - but isn't there already a website called www.youparklikea***t.com where you can post these pictures up, and also download some nice pre-printed notes to leave on people's windscreens?

A BUSINESS director who flouted parking restrictions by using fraudulent registration plates has ended up with a bill of nearly £8,000.

http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/13616271.Business_m...
