Reductio ad absurdum:

Country pub, not much room, park perpendicular to path. Good thinking.

Er, no. That's not quite what we meant.
This thread is seriously worrying.

Top of a street last week, train station nearby so obviously dumped, at the time there was obviously a car parked behind but now it appears abandoned in an extremely awkward position. Oh, and the windscreen accessory proves the idiocy..

I feel the need to report that a Micra parked 1 space down from me in the local Morrisons yesterday, so badly that I reached for my phone...

It was barely halfway into the space (tho between the lines) - mostly sticking-out into the road behind - easily 2m from the fence.

The little-old-lady who got out must have been 100. She could barely move - used 2 sticks yet she's NOT parked in a disabled space despite being eminently qualified and there being several available at the entrance (one of which was disgorging a fat woman and her fat partner at that very point).

The little old lady doesn't get a picture taken - she's fine in my book, we can drive around her just fine

That is just asking to be wiped out by somebody not paying attention, and no less than the muppet deserves

Numberplate photoshopped? Airbags deployed! Expensive, not to mention the damage to the front and underside of the car!

I photoshopped out the plate to save his embarrassment. (Though everyone round here knows him). The car was a write off. (Massive damage to the underside).

And so the neighbour of my mate continues as usual creating their own spaces.

Heavy rain earlier today, when the vehicles weren't there, showed just how badly the pavement has sunk under the weight of the trucks with a nice tramline where the wheels sit.

From what I gather the council and / or HA are due to be having a look at the pavement / kerbs in the next couple of weeks.

Make a point of giving them the number plates so they can bill them, wishful thinking I know.

See this is why I think that after a certain age you should have regular driving tests etc.
Honda should automatically give one to people that buy a Jazz.biggrin
When I bought my first Jazz, There was a questionaire to fill in before I signed the sales document.

1...Do you regularly drive at approx 50mph?
2...Do you often forget to cancel your indicators?
3...Do you 'flash' other drivers from time to time?
4...Do you drive in the middle lane of motorways for no good reason?
5...You have been known to enter a road and have no idea why?

I got 100%. The sales person said, 'Sign here'.

Watched the driver of the Celerio squeeze out of his door , turn to his partner and shrug. She looked embarrassed. He must have touched bodywork there. The black car isn't exactly parked well either, but is well over in the bay.
