Mmmh, it doesn't hurt anyone here, does it?
Here? Where's "here"???

By that logic, no-one from north of Durham should post pictures of bad parking lest they are seen by a PHer in Cornwall. After all, someone parking on a zebra crossing in Morpeth doesn't hurt Clive in Helston, does it?

It's the 'World Wide Web' and PistonHeads has active members all over the world. It may be more popular in English speaking countries, but there are plenty of ex-pats on the forums, and I think you'll find a large proportion of Germans who are better at speaking English than some of our 'home grown' school leavers.

Your question seems to be quite dismissive of overseas based members. Besides which, bad parking is bad parking, and that particular piece of parking is quite terrible, and well worthy of it's inclusion in these hallowed halls of xenophobic Britishness wink

Here: the particular spot the driver has parked the car.

I should've said: it doesn't BOTHER anyone.

BTW: I'm from The Netherlands ... and I have dents in my doors and stripes of non-matching colours on my bumpers. They never leave notes do they?

Outside our son's junior school, on a main road. Some parents don't like me photographing their selfish parking. Tough.
Have you considered passing the pictures on to the head teacher?
Or if local BiB do twitter, send them a link.

In fairness, it was probably ruined by the second or third owner.
I can imagine anyone would spect that combo for a new car.

Brilliant!

Eric Delcamp:

Le principe est pourtant simple : si les voitures sont pénalisées pour stationner ou rouler dans les pistes cyclables, alors les vélos sont pénalisés s'ils ne les prennent pas. Ou sinon, c'est la foire.

Says it all, really!

Can't happen here (U.K.) though, can it? Yet . . .

Tragic. I said to the OH, I will make up some notes with "Do you really need two spaces" on and put them under their wipers, joking at the time.

But with seeing so many in our local shopping precincts, I might just do it.

Funnily enough, in the car park in Union Square, Aberdeen, (New 93 million quid shopping precinct), I cannot recall anyone taking up more than one space, disabled spaces without blue badge being displayed, sadly yes.......
