I would park so close to that the passenger door is the only option in and then hope someone does the same on the passenger side.

It's not a junction and I wasn't parked, just stopped to take a picture! biggrin
I didn't realise it was your car lol. The double yellows and the kerb appear to turn to the right so that's why I thought it was a junction. Either way you must still be on the double yellows anyway so get it posted

Have to say in Zafira with kids your will often need more room than mot people will afford you if you left one bay clear. I don't park like this because I am worried people will damage my car though. If you got 4 kids or a baby in an infant carrier you are stuffed if someone doesn't park very well in the bay next to you.
Unless you load/unload before parking
Babies and unloading have little to do with it.
They are selfish, inconsiderate and don't give a damn.

Apologies for the awful photo and my attempts to improve it with SnapSeed, HTC seem to have dropped the ball from my last phone to this one in low light situations.

So the Golf is parked in a place that could only be accessed by driving up the dropped curb of the zebra crossing and onto the path where it's stopped.

The Astra ticks a few boxes. Partially on the path, the front is on the zig zags of the zebra, the back is in a bus stop.
It's all rather....beautiful.

Thin council type shoes. Croydon facelift. Something else? Of course, a total disregard for others.

Yeh, it is good to see that they did not rebuild the other houses after the war, give a feeling of space

I'd like to nominate this muppet, who decided to block three garages with his car this morning!

Mine is the end one, it's one I rent as I have two cars which need garaging. One I keep at my garage at home, the other in here. It's about a 20 minute walk from my house, so I didn't have the time to go back and get my other car. Plus I needed this car today as I had a customer visiting my office specifically coming to look at it.

I tried getting my car out by going backwards and forwards several times, but because the low wall is so close, I didn’t have the space to swing the front end out. So I decided to sit in the car with the (loud) engine running, periodically blasting the horn. No one came out, but a few people walked past. None knew who’s car it was. In the end I called 101 and they said they’d try to contact the owner. As soon as they hung up, the owner came down, got in the Audi and moved it, didn’t bother to say sorry or anything. Made me 30 minutes late for work though. I’m tempted to get a crappy banger to dump in front of my garage. It will provide a bit more security and hopefully stop people blocking it. Presumably it can be SORN if it’s on the bit of tarmac facing my garage door?

Not when I have an expensive car which lives in the garage there. I don't want to stir anything up!

Oh look, here's a nice big space, right next to the shop door, how odd no one has parked there. There's even a pretty picture on a pole of a motorbike, how lovely!

This selfish bell end.

There was a space 2 spots in front of the Jag FFS. He decides to block one lane of traffic and a driveway into a flat complex to spend 10 minutes in the bookies behind me.

Questioned his selfish parking and he just blanked it, got in the car and fked off to be a tt elsewhere.

Have to say in Zafira with kids your will often need more room than most people will afford you if you left one bay clear. I don't park like this because I am worried people will damage my car though. If you got 4 kids or a baby in an infant carrier you are stuffed if someone doesn't park very well in the bay next to you. I have had situations were I have to start the car and pull out of the bay to load the kids and then people moan you are blocking the car park then you can't win.

I don't see the issue here. If your kids aren't old enough to load / unload themselves, use the parent & child spaces. If they are old enough, use the normal spaces as they should be able to make do with a regular space.

Health & Safety. That's the Quarantine parking for the Zafira incase it sets itself on fire.
