This selfish bell end.

There was a space 2 spots in front of the Jag FFS. He decides to block one lane of traffic and a driveway into a flat complex to spend 10 minutes in the bookies behind me.

Questioned his selfish parking and he just blanked it, got in the car and fked off to be a tt elsewhere.

errrmmm isn't the jag blocking the driveway too?

Yeah I only noticed that when I looked more at the pic, they are in a bay though, just the old reverse until your wheels bump the kerb manoeuvre.

It is a very small space looking at it on street view actually... https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.9903057,-0.18795...

Apologies for the awful photo and my attempts to improve it with SnapSeed, HTC seem to have dropped the ball from my last phone to this one in low light situations.

So the Golf is parked in a place that could only be accessed by driving up the dropped curb of the zebra crossing and onto the path where it's stopped.

The Astra ticks a few boxes. Partially on the path, the front is on the zig zags of the zebra, the back is in a bus stop.
It's all rather....beautiful.
Yeh, it is good to see that they did not rebuild the other houses after the war, give a feeling of space
I'm blessed, try to hide your jealousy wink

Just down the road from there, this white van man managed to find a section of double yellows exactly the same length as his van.

If this was a German car I would have been more angry, but truly beautiful Mustang
In the owners defense, I saw this car when heading out of uni today and it was parked close to the pavement on the otherside. Although compared to some of the other cars in this thread, it's not that bad at all tbh.

This isn't bad parking, it's great parking, I just didn't know where else to put it...

Hats off to this person. Makes me itchy to see how close they are! Could be interesting if you had an argument with the girlfriend and wanted to leave them in there

St Albans? Tricky parking indeed.

Today I witnessed a nice single mother parking her shed in the middle of two disabled bays. Obviously her kids are more important than disabled people...would have been a good excuse EXCEPT she left them in the car whilst she went in the store, probably for fags and alcohol, for 20 minutes, on their own.

No pics sorry, would have looked a bit odd taking pictures of kids in a car.

Oh look, here's a nice big space, right next to the shop door, how odd no one has parked there. There's even a pretty picture on a pole of a motorbike, how lovely!

Picture of black motorcycle on circular white background = motor cycles prohibited!

Better hand in your licence my friend, or perhaps a trip to Specsavers. biggrin

Red rings or circles tell you what you must not do,
e.g. you must not exceed 30 mph, no vehicles
over the height shown may proceed

The red outer ring is not visible in the darkness of that photograph.

That is all!

In some ways, I'd rather the sort of person that generally drives a Zafira park over two pitches and away from any other cars like that, than seek out a tight pitch right next to me car so their little sprogs can swing the doors open into mine..

Anyone else wondering if the reason some people try to excuse some of the obviously poor parking examples we see on here is because that particular scenario is something they themselves do on a regular basis?

Yep, really nice houses down those streets, but fked if I'd live with only off-street parking with a 2 foot high kerb. That's the difference between a kerbed wheel, and a whole panel respray!

I have only your word for that! It is dark!

Will you let me get the last word in, or do we need to pop off and start our own thread?

You feel free, I'm just stating the facts. biggrin

(Although I am curious to know why you think a motorcycle parking area would have a 'no motorcycles' sign. Are you imagining that the sign to the left and back a bit is 'no children'?)
