Outside a pub we stopped at for lunch today. The space in the parking bay was easily big enough. But, no, too tricky so out in the road will do.

This is an old pic as the Tarmac is back to black ! But every day there is at least 1 van parked here.
Always the same company as well. Others use the car park. Most days you'll find the Van and a taxi.

The car park is Empty

Could be wrong, guessing they live in a council house and the driveway belongs to the council, not actually theirs in a legal term. Either way, bloody cheek.

Money may buy an expensive car... But not much else...

And no, not a disabled badge holder either (well not in a disabled space either...)

As in the council own it?

Does this mean I can park on my neighbour's drive as they rent?

In the past I have reported poor parking; not buy calling the Police and asking them to attend, but sending a photo to their poor parking website, I had a response saying that it would be monitored and if they cropped up again a word would be had; or words to that effect.

Chatting to a Policeman from another area about poor parking on estates, he said they tend not get heavy on it as times change, households have more cars, estates get busier and everyone has to get along and there has to be harmony, getting heavy can result in more problems.

I certainly wouldn't call the police for parking like that, however I would like to think that if I sent a photo in; which clearly shows poor and inconsiderate parking, a word would definitely be had; maybe via letter.

No point in having a cycle lane if a bunch of s keep parking in it...

...and even when this halfwit moves, it'll still be unusable because of the sludgy, slippy pile of leaves that the street sweeping truck couldn't get to.

Deliveries? I know they're pretty essential to modern life, but next time you're tempted to shout "get in the bloody bike lane" to a cyclist, consider the number of obstructions we face every time we ride. tongue out

The driveway to that commercial premises not big enough to put the truck in?

Triple Whammy! Double yellows, dropped curb, on the footway. And he/she might even be obstructing the site entrance, despite the "Polite Notice" requesting them not to.

No Loading at any time? Fcensoredk It! Park there anyway.

And yet more cycle lane fkwittery. If you (I mean 'drivers' as a species) expect cyclists to ride in cycle lanes where they are provided, then quit obstructing the access to them. Elsewise, I'll presume, based on experience, that there's always going to be an obstruction of some kind on said cycle path, and never bother with using them. Try not to be like this bunch of s, and if the knob-headedness stops, I'll consider your (less than polite wink ) requests for me to "Get in the fking bike lane!"

What is it with lazy drivers failing to straighten their wheels when parking?

I'm sick of seeing it. I hate it. Ever since some pensioner twunt in a gold Mercedes estate bashed my car a good'un and drove off without a note after parking like this, I never park next to anyone who I can see has left the wheels turned like this. And it grips my st when I get back to find some Dick/Doris has parked next to me like this. Grrrr! irked

And for your next trick, Mr "Renault Trafic Sport+" driver?

Bah! Peasants! Let them walk in the carriageway, for I have parked my super-sporty diesel van so as to completely obstruct the footway. Mwoohahahahaha!

Note the closely spaced white lines, the word 'Slow' painted on the road, the double yellow "At Any Time" lines and the fact that his completely solid van's arse end is sticking out just where it causes an obstruction to the sight lines for vehicles turning into and out of the junction. What a total bell-end.

So. Mr "FP65 WRN". A selfish halfwit to be avoided at all costs. For his attitude to the rest of humanity, his inability to consider the consequences of his selfish parking, and for falling for the marketing BS and failing to realise that, no matter how many red stripes and 'Sport+' graphics you slap on it, the humble Renault Trafic is still a crappy old tradesman's tool, and not a desirable "lifestyle accessory".

Just your regular, run-of-the-mill ignorant parking. Close to the store, and taking up two spaces. Tesco, The Meadows, Camberley. Nothing new there. Still, it meant I didn't have to worry about squeezing in or out of my car. thumbup

Not the worst parking ever. But with it being a classic car, and the van being hard over to the left of it's bay, why not line the Minor up hard over to the left too? It's a relatively small car park in Bournemouth, and the Minor is the last car to have arrived at the moment the picture was taken. It's early, and the car park WILL be full by mid morning, so there's a strong likelihood that someone will fill the space between the Morris and the van before either one leaves.

I remember that one, nice to see they were proven to be wrong, as I recall you could enter that road, THEN you came across the no entry sign. As far as parked in a cycle lane with solid line, bet they didnt get a ticket.
