I live in Cyprus at the moment and all the parking in this thread is completely normal and acceptable in the eyes of the average Cypriot! I will be heading out later so I will take some pics to show you. I'd say about 50% of all parking is bad here. Painted parking bays seem to be invisible to them!

h decided to park her Fiat 500 across our garage, leaving me with 3 parking tickets. It's a private road, all cars need a parking permit on display, I have 2 cars, normally keep one in the garage, but I couldn't get it in the garage due to her leaving her car there. Left a note on the window but the car and note didn't move for at least 3 days. The most annoying thing is she's not even an immediate neighbour, or even close; she lives about halfway down the road

Guarantee the police would do sweet FA unless it somehow came to be obstructing the road.

Block her in with a car, if you can't hire a small skip.
