Obvious troll is obvious
For pointing out the obvious that it's between the lines so not badly parked?

Check thread title

It's the BAD Parking thread and not the parked in a disabled bay on private land without a badge thread.

We should make sure we remove all the pictures of cars neatly parked on double yellows, pavements, grass verges, etc.
Bit of a difference. The cop car isn't on a pavement, double yellows or even a grass verge, it's parked inside the bay and probably there for a fast exit in an emergency

Just outside my house yesterday, narrow street. It looks like someone gave up parking, got out and left it. Genius
I know most of us can manage it, here is the space left after I reversed the S80 into this space, a couple of shunts and rear parking sensors really help.

Front of my car on the right.

Rear of my car on the left.

Errr?

It's not in any 'bay' at all. It's actually obstructing access to the store and to the trolleys in the trolley park. (Causing a willful obstruction? Criminal offence right there wink )

Fast exit in an emergency? Nope. If you want a fast exit, you really need to be reversing into a space, not leaving yourself needing to reverse out and change direction through 180 degrees.

If time was that critical would they be leaving the car at all?
C'mon even plod have to do their shopping.
The way I see it is that they have breaks like everyone else and also radios that mean they have to abandon whatever they are doing and get somewhere else rather quickly.

If you fellas would rather they arrived late and just missed something important (like a mugger just about to disappear around the corner), then I guess they could park the opposite end of the car park!

They also uphold the law and set an example to us citizens. 'They don't obey the rules, so why should we'?

This could have been a fast entrance? (not just to buy doughnuts).

Like reverse in, change lock shunt forwards, change lock shunt back etc etc until I am alongside the kerb. Maybe you thought shunt as in hitting the other car?

Another idiot blocking the footpath.
It's not as if there weren't a couple of cars behind me parked properly.

The owners of the house took exception to someone parking on the road outside their house so they decided to leave their drive empty and park their 4x4 in a way to block it in.

Couldn't agree with you more, they still 100% believe they were in the right and the silver car shouldn't have parked outside their house. I can confirm that this is a totally public cul de sac.

If you see the owner of the Fiesta return, hand him your stock of frozen sausages and tell

him/her what to do with them.

Lend them a hammer too.

Next time I would just park blocking their driveway, some people.
