So many cars parked like this lately,I don't often bother taking pictures. This one quite
Annoyed me this evening during a quick trip to the local shop, giving me no option but to take my pushchair into the road.
About 2 mins before this my son stumbled from his scooter into a vx corsa parked on the pavement. I was waiting for the young chap sitting in it to say something but he didn't.
Nice wheels, icandy peach?

Yeah, sounds familiar. iCandy something or other, my wife deals with that side of things, they all look the same to me.

Daily occurrence in our local park, and what really gets my goat is those who park about 4ft from the end bay (as in your pic). One space in town has room for three cars, the other two cars were well back from the end of the bay, making the middle spot inaccessible unless you had a smart car.

I always walk around my car to check I am in the bay, just in case a PH is lurking in the bushes. biggrin

To be fair I don't think Andy wanted to talk about it... When the internal cable breaks (they all do in the end) don't buy a new handle, relatively easy fix. End of pram talk, back to parking.

For helmets like that, I do think pedestrians should be entitled to just walk over the car without any comeback.

Change the nappy on their bonnet. If they come out to protest you couldn't get home to do it because of the way they parked.

If they still protest empty the nappy into the plastic air vent panel at the top of the bonnet.

Nope. Merc was parked like that and there was some other car where the Honda was. I watched the Mini manage to squeeze into the space which was quite impressive. The car behind then leaves and Honda comes along and parks even closer, boxing Mini in.

Example of those who piss me off big time. Look at the gap in front of the car on the left. This bay will let three cars park, but "Oh no, why should I park at the end, when I can piss someone off".

Fortunately I managed to park my Volvo in with a bit of jiggling. The other car was also a few feet from the end of the bay.

This was earlier in the year, previously posted.

I had someone go into the back of me years ago. Their car was pissing all kinds of fluid all over the place, bumper mashed, radiator done. I was in a Volvo with a meaty towbar. The towbar had a bit of a scuff on it heh.

Just out of interest, if that person was visiting someone who perhaps never had a driveway would you prefer that they should completely park in the road, rather than straddle both?

Sticks.

Someone doesn't read this thread!!

I am glad to see another PH'er in my home town though!!! ????
Personally I wouldn't say that was bad. It's not on double yellows, blocking a drive or road. It's left enough room for people to get past on the pavement (a bit tight admittedly but it's grass not a wall).
Dunno - I reckon you'd struggle to get a wheelchair or a large pram/double buggy through that gap without having to go partially onto the grass.

I also reckon they would be touch and go with regards to highway code rule 242.
