Not the worst example granted, but found this one on my travels yesterday. Everyone else along the entire (perfectly wide) road manages to park alongside the curb - as you can see, looking at the other cars in the picture - but never mind, I'll park my Prius on the pavement and make sure I leave my wheelie bin there too, so pedestrians have to squeeze through the gap smile

You could easily bump into the bin and accidently tip it over.................biggrin

Should we exclude supermarket parking?

There's something about parking at your local Tesco's or Sainsburys that turns perfectly average drivers into total c***s. Too far to the left, too far to the right, too far forward, too far back and my all time favourite parking on the cross hatched areas at the end of a lane. This is a favourite for those wkers who drive white vans. Personally I hope you all get cancer and die you thoughtless tts.

By god, I feel better for that.

I was going to park here, backed up and got out of the car to check the front, it was overhanging the disabled bay by about 18 inches, so moved elsewhere.

Then this van decides he will park in this space, over hanging the ONLY disabled bay in the Main Street, as I left he was still there over an hour, all doors closed up.

If he had equipment to unload, he could have done it and parked in the car park about 30 yards away.

Same place, another contractor, but managed to take the entire disabled space. This is the ONLY space in the street, and there is a car park around the corner. Where's a warden when you want one.

I'm guessing photoshop.
I can't vouch for its origins.

This was actually carried out some years ago in a main shopping street in Brighouse, West Yorks. The offending lines on one side of the street were painted out within 24 hours as anything wider than a Mondeo could not pass between the lines.

Never under estimate the stupidity of some Council workers / contractors.

That same photo appeared in the Daily Mail today and says "No through road: Parking bays in Cross Park Avenue, Plymouth, this week"

That is tragic - such a classic vehicle, but driven by someone who is clearly a total spacktard.
