Yep no issue with that parking.
Nor me. I always park over the hatching on the end if i get the chance. What do you think the lines are there for?. The same as any other hatched area. ( But yes, you can cross a hatched area on a road if it is unavoidable.)
KEEP OFF, you naughty, naughty PH drivers.

I shouldn't post this because they had their hazards on and everyone knows that cancels out any parking issues.
We've got roadworks in our little town with a narrow main street. No Parking cones have been placed in the parking bays on the narrowest part to maintain a clear path through when the road works traffic lights cycle.
Wandered down to the chippy yesterday, and literally parked on the cones was a van from CAP Glazing of Ripon, while his mate was in the chippy. I asked the driver if he hadn't seen the cones . .
"I've got the flashing lights on on the back" was his reply . . .
Maybe the lights make the van narrower? Or invisible to traffic? I'm tempted to email the company and ask if I can buy some of them to make my car narrower too ;-)

This happened just before work tonight, in Mansfield, came out of McDonald's and the owner was walking ahead of me back to the car and when I went "lines are there for a reason mate" he got super confrontational, threatening me, calling me out with his arms raised etc, after I'd gotten into my car he then tried to wheel spin through the car park behind me, followed me through Mansfield heading towards Nottingham when he decides to overtake me, he went through a set of traffic lights on the opposite side of the central reservation before cutting in front of the range rover that was in front of me making us both slam on, and finally pulled into a bus stop to let me pass him before pulling right back out behind me.

Clacket Lane Services on Friday. As elsewhere, if there are insufficient bays for trailers and caravans you go into the HGV park.
Car park looks empty enough for them to park there to mefunkyrobot said:
Can you get an 'invoice' for doing that though?
I would have thought that one of the conditions of parking is parking within the allocated spaces.
I received a ticket for using the hatches on an otherwise useless bit of tarmac in a car park in Leighton Buzzard a number of years ago.I would have thought that one of the conditions of parking is parking within the allocated spaces.
I contested it and the 'judge' ruled in my favour but cited that I'd parked that way due to inadequate signage rather than common sense.

I had to go to that estate to pick up a parcel from Yodel that they'd lied about trying to deliver to me. There were no spaces in their car park or anywhere else so I have to admit I parked like a number of those above. I was so p***ed off at the time that I couldn't have cared less.
We were packing up our stuff after a day trip to Durham when this knuckledragger just dumps his clown car right in front of us and shambles off towards the footbridge, presumably looking for the tree his parents live in.
Thing is, there were lots of spaces right next to the bridge, he could have saved himself some time and not looked like a complete douchenozzle.
