Off topic, and at the risk of sounding like one of the grumpy old men, the increasingly prevalent attitude that there are people to clear up after others really annoys me. "It's OK to drop litter - that's what the street sweepers are for" is another example.
I was sitting on a platform at London Bridge Station with some fast food rubbish to dispose of and no bins on sight so I asked an Inspector. His reply? "Just chuck it on the floor sir"
He eventually admitted there was a big wheely bin around the corner but didn't want to tell me in case the cleaners found out he was putting them out of a job!!!
I got told to do the same thing, or just 'put it on the side'. He said they didn't have bins so people couldn't put bombs in them but it was ok to litter as the cleaners would pick it up.

Just give us our bins back!!

There are bins back on our local station now. They're just transparent so if you leave a big block of stuff with a mobile phone attached to it, everyone can see it. And run away.

That only works if the bomber is daft enough to not put the bomb in a bin bags or similar.

There must be something wrong with that driver's brain. It's just as well they're not permitted to operate machinery that could kill people.

It's a shame we don't call the police. I'd like to know what they would say about parking like that.

I would be tempted to see if the door was open and roll it back onto the road. That takes the biscuit.

The silly thing is - maybe because of this PH topic - I tend to park my car near a numpty and as closse as possible. Living on the edge!

I will post pics when I make 'em.

My guess - Dropped Kerb syndrome??

If the designers have put a dropped kerb there, then some tard will think its intended for his convenience and probably justifies it by convincing himself, that if he/she didn't use it - some other tard would be along shortly afterwards.

The van driver managed to stall 3 times before being satisfied with this effort.

My parking with the Passat is only slightly better (I'm just over the line by mm) but this car park is bad enough of an evening without people taking 2 bays. I parked like this to make a point. When I returned to the car after a few hours and the Fiat had a parking ticket!

Great effort, although you could have got a tad closer. Parking ticket for the Fiat adds a valuable bonus point however. biggrin
