How much thought do you give to the cars you're about to park next to? I've been the victim of a car park side swipe more than once in the past and the culprit has never 'fessed up to it. The last time ended up in a 4k+ respray... I probably overthink things now as a result.

Prime example. Perfect spot in the car park at work, about as close to the door as I could reasonably expect and I was in the daily wiesel;

Pulled halfway in and noticed all the dents down the side, it had been keyed and there was a baby seat in the back...

Nah. noooooo. Not a chance.

Then I started wondering why a fecking matiz would be that close to the white line;

Can't drive for toffee then... Chances are the owner will be visiting the court in the complex too.

Think I'll be the one parking in the corner of the car park at this rate. Which as it happened, I was when I left this evening. And yup, as I was walking to the car someone drove past and parked next to it. Despite there being 10 empty spaces, in a row, next to it. FFS. Why? What is wrong with theses people?
I tend to avoid cars with any small child paraphenalia - child seats, blinds on the windows etc - as chances are they'll want to open the doors as wide as possible to get the child in, and even if not deliberate, high chance of their door dinging into your car as they bend over to decant child from arms into its seat, do up straps etc.

As to your last point - I think a lot of people have utterly useless spatial awareness/perception, and can't park unless they are alongsode another vehicle as a reference point.

Out of interest, if you had seen some how would you have posted the pic?
Well, it looks like my rapier sharp wit and irony has fallen on the (stony) disabled bay.

Guess what was so important for this individual to deem it acceptable to park like this outside a school.

That's right conker collecting.

Seriously, the guy was in his 50s, why park like that, and why are you still conker collecting ?

Thought we was looking at the office carpark in the forefront of the picture before noticing the giant arrows.

Arrows are helpfully saying 'Conkers here', thanks to whoever painted them.

I wonder if whoever it is they see this and come to defend themselves, or admit not being too bright on this occasion

This one cropped up from a few years ago. Our old work parking was always tight on spaces at the best of times.

Do I need to say anything?
Pug driver on a fairly empty car park with plenty spaces to my left and also behind but still for some reason parks in the entrance to the car parking meaning cars cannot leave and enter at the same time.

Quick, someone has stolen all your revs!
+1 That seems a very low rev limit? scratchchin

I lived the dream at a Toby Carvery at the weekend, aside from the two obvious ones I also tried to fit in the blue Focus out of a designated space and the white van dumped on the grass. Loads of parking available at the side.

Parked on the very edge of a large Tesco's car park, with plenty of spaces.

Its astonishing what some people think is acceptable parking. This is outside a primary school at 3pm, and it wasn't a lazy parent, it was a guy in his 60's who popped into the shop for 5 mins...

In my local Sainsburys, seen a couple of Bentleys, a roller and a Ferrari, they have no problem parking in ONE space, then again if all cars did, this thread wouldnt be here, so keep it up you tards.

To be fair I don't have an issue with that as long as they do it at the far side of the car park
