I don't know if that's meant to be a joke but charge points are charge points not just EV parking slots. Anybody parking there without charging just shows how daft some people are.
Although I don't yet have an EV I think I'd ask reception to call the number out to get it moved.
It took me a while to realise that was what was meant. Initially I thought maybe some joker had come along and for a 'laugh' unplugged the car that was there, so the owners would get a nice surprise when they returned. Come to think of it, is that possible? do the chargers lock in or something ?

Busy Sunday morning at the supermarket, obviously the best thing to do is to take up two spaces so nobody damages your 10 year old untaxed diesel A6 rolleyes

Better a ticket than trying to clamp it.

Do you run tax checks on every car you see?

I think he's an experimental android sent by the DVLA from the future - every reg-plate gets tax-checked.

Is it that prevalent though?
Last news story I read estimated 1% of vehicles/£80m (so assume half of that as it WAS a newspaper - £40m).

Perhaps, the ANPR boys are missing a key trick and they should tour the supermarket car parks, every Saturday morning, instead of being sat on a major junction.

At the end of the day, simple maths says that every pound that is unpaid in car tax, means that the budget has to be balanced it off with an equal increase in other taxes paid by the rest of us.

Entering Lakeside off the A13 on last two weekends of the year is a no no if you don't have tax, insurance and MOT as they pull them all over at the top of the hill, nab the driver and occupants and put the cars on display with appropriate sticker at the side of the road. Some nice metal has been seen on many occasions - Range Rovers, M cars, high value Audis, Jags etc thumbup
