The witness said "she had one foot out the car" when it happened? eh?
Forgot to put handbrake on. As getting out of the car, with right foot on the ground and left still flopping around the general area of the peddles, the car starts to roll. She panics and stabs the wrong pedal with her left foot. On why the engine was still running, we can only speculate even further...

Judging by the various scrapes on the corners of this car the owner has decided against trying to squeeze it into those tiny marked bays. Or maybe it is there for the shade of that enormous tree later on when the sun is shining from the North.

My mate drives a smart convertible and his wife also has a smart. Such a shame they don't live over here as that those half spaces would be ideal for them!

I am guessing that he pulled up for about 30 seconds to look at that amazing road before zipping off and seeing how much 'progress' he can make going down it.
Combining that car with that road, anything else is madness.

The thing that strikes me about this photo is how the new Fiesta utterly dwarfs the 1990s Astra.

It seems cars really are getting bigger.

I wasn't sure whether this belonged in the bad parking or reg plates thread...

Wouldn't the driver of the VW have known that something was wrong when they were struggling to get out/open the door?

Yet more examples of "sod the pedestrians" just around the corner from me. It's not as if these estate roads are ever busy.

The "considerably more important than you" brigade were out in force yesterday and yeah, B&Q isnt especially busy at mid day on a Monday, and yeah the GTR and the M3 are nice cars, I get that, but they are also driven on this occasion by fkwits.
