Trivia alert...! Taken around 11am on 8/8/69, later that day Charlie Manson's mob committed their atrocious crimes in California.
Of which Manson quoted the Beatles song Helter Skelter as 'inspiration' for these crimes.

What's the significance of the odd white stripes on the crossing?

The exact same photo shows regular white lines?

Another one thats hanging off a curb!

We recently had an attempted theft of a Vespa at home which was parked in bay 25 at the end by the bush. This type of parking has never been an issue here but now that the spot is spare van driver thinks he can do what he wants - Bay 24 and 25 is not his and the spot on the right of the van is visitors only.
I know this van recently got broken into and had tools stolen, at least he deserves it. It's kinda like pre-karma for his bad parking.

Bet in a facelift it gets changed, it does make you wonder wtf they were thinking though.

It's not as if theres a wheel on the back or any reason other than 'they can' that I can see.

Is that not the swing door type? I am guessing there was a big hinge hence the reason and then they carried it over.

Range rover style with split shelf boot design is more practical.

It's not remotely similar, the rear window is split level and the early discos had a wheel there too, the lop sided indent on the new ones is there for what purpose exactly ? it looks ste, and if it's so needed, how come the other new disco doesn't have it as well.
