This is rather tame after some of the monstrosities on this thread.
If it was just the rear wing and the side skirts, you'd probably not give it a second look. The wheel stripes you could perhaps overlook too. But WTF have they got that thing on the bonnet for ?
Obviously to keep the frozen goods chilled on the way home from the supermarket

This http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141563921116?ssPageName=... spending all that money to get it looking like a car from a movie but its neither an aerotop or a manual. The civic next to it in the pics and then expecting to get insured on it just after learning to drive read the description.

Compared to some of the other replicas over the years at least that one looks fairly decent, but as you said the least they could have done was use the correct spec Aero car. Although I cant believe the person who did the replica actually thought that this (below) would fool people laugh

eBay Seller said:
It is the hardtop version but there has been a rubber style seal added to the roof to make it look like an Aerotop.
It still doesn't look like an Aero even with the fake rubber seal.

Plus he's another pillock who doesn't know the simple difference between BOUGHT & BROUGHT banghead

I'd make some changes for sure, but I'm of the generation which grew up with those films and they've almost gone full circle; that Supra is so tacky it's cool.

If it were proper spec and manual I would drive that. Just for giggles (and constantly recite the quotes from the film too!)

I was 10 when the first film come out in 2001 so by time I became interested in cars the saxos with neons and huge body kits were just dying out. I like a good replica but only when its done properly. With car mods beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

Looking at the steering wheel, I guess safety for himself isn't a priority either!

Keighley driver reported for offences
rofl

"The car is covered in rubber flippers, paint, various coloured plastic objects and toys and has a tank turret contraption and Darth Vader on the roof."

You must be a miserable old duffer who masturbates furiously over a resale grey 4 door diesel rep mobile to hate that

Assuming that's a Supra, depending on it's age it may never have had an airbag there - the steering wheel would suggest that there wasn't one on the steering wheel either. My 1995 GT-Four has no airbags, for example.

//edit: I see, it's on that eBay link. 1993 - probably had no airbags to begin with then.

As far as F&F reps go, that isnt a bad one. If it had the aerotop and a manual it would be passable as a 'show car'.

I dont think I could drive it without hearing Vin Diesel telling me to "smoke 'em" every time I stopped next to someone at the lights.

Came across this modded monstrosity while browsing for a bit of British V8, what some people do to perfectly good looking cars still amazes (and slightly sickens) me -
