Yeah, Google Saab Impreza & you will see loads, mainly wagons.
Blimey, that's one for the 'cars you never knew existed thread' So basically it is a Subaru Impreza, built by Ssubaru but with a Saab front end on it?
Yes. Though it was a relatively low power version, rather low boost.
The back of the Saab was slightly different too, but with it being a wagon you couldn't fit that to an Impreza saloon without some modification.
Actually if you read into it, supposedly it used the STi steering rack for more precise steering, because that sounds so Saab-y?
They were going to do a 9-6X based on the Tribeca too.
Then a few years after Saab (or GM) sold their shares in Subaru, Saab started selling the 9-3X, a turbo charged 4 cylinder all wheel drive performance saloon (and later wagon), could so easily have been Impreza based and might have been in development while the partnership was in place?
But it's a unique car of entirely it's own being and that's a good thing, they're not focused driver's cars, but they're so cool.
Saab were always cosy with Haldex and the 9-3 Turbo X was the first production car with what was the latest and greatest at the time and probably entirely the opposite end of the spectrum to Subaru's system.

I'm sure one of you powerfully built company directors would love to spend a few weekends finishing, this mighty fine Lamborghini Countach off. The people at work would be so jealous of you! Then again it will never be as fast as a remapped BMW Diesel.

Poor attempt at a lambo, certainly, but a piece of British kit-car history to some.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181730713580?ru=http%3A%...

Just put this up in the crappy personalised plate thread. Should we have a sub forum just for Solihull's finest?
The charge sheet is long on this one. Aside from the tasteless tinselly tat, we have the mahoosive alloys, 4 pipe exhaust, colour coded rear wiper (hello, 1984 calling) and the spazzy font and dubious spacing on the plate.
