Probably air lift suspension
I do love how everyone says this, yet every day I see something like that scraping its arse down the road. One lad local to us lost his sump on the speed hump that he used to scrape over every night at 2am.....my heart bled for him.

So my take is yes it could be on air suspension or its equally likely that it isn't.

A unique 911, for sure, with a unique price.
I quite like it
I quite hate it smile

For clarity, I'm in the "haters going to hate" camp. If it had the power to match the looks I would possibly be a fan, but it's all fur coat and no knickers.

I have absolutely no doubt that the Golf in question is on air suspension.

RWB porsches are the only porsches I would ever own and they have been a feature in my dream garage since I first saw one

A bog standard Golf that really needed to be featured here spoiled my day with the deepest side skirt I've ever seen. As far as I can recall that's all it had, just the deep side skirt, still in manufacturer white with lots of filler smeared up the side of the car. My phone was dead so I couldn't capture it for posterity. I think my phone may have died as a result of the hideousness.
It turns out I did it a disservice.

There were wheel arch extensions I hadn't spotted and much work done to the front.

Interesting use of guttering.

Can we anticipate downpipe for exhausts?

I love how they have parked them on the pavement, perhaps, in their minds to avoid the double yellow lines...

Well spotted. I hadn't seen that aspect of the transgression.

Probably yeah, non standard suspension like that usually does though, its not really surprising, if its on air then I hate to think of the extra costs

It's a pretty famous Supra in the UK, it was a company demo car an was featured in few jap car mags. Very much a marmite car.

Iirc it's a custom metal bodykit,, Genuine Ferrari 360 rear lights/rear panel, 20 inch Custom Volk wheels an a bugger load of HKS bits under the bonnet.
Was that the one done by that Scottish firm?
Having done a bit of research (checking my stash of old car mags) it would seem that the car was Eclipse Audio's demo car.

The car made appearances at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2005>2007 before being imported to the UK in 2008. Originally it was black with graphics all over it and the new owner resprayed it in Yamaha R1 Yellow with gold pearl.

Now THAT is what this thread is all about! Poorly fitted low quality parts that don't complement the style of the car in the slightest

I don't think this looks too bad but how often does he have to put a new splitter on, it must get ripped off by cats eyes. This belongs to one of the staff at Swindon Karting which has a really rough approach road, he must carry it in everyday.
The front end is doing a good impression of a Hoover.

I don't really think you can class a digital render as a badly modified car, unless we're counting virtual mods now.

Does a wacky paint job count?

It was the Geneva Motor Show 1975 all over again. Giorgetto Giugiaro, after looking at one side of the TR7, viewed the other side and exclaimed "My God! They've done it to the other side as well!".
