I've seen it out and about a couple of times. It's brilliant.

I like the mx5 Daytona. It gets extra fun points for upsetting Ferrari fans.

Some of the DIY pickups are well done.

There was one in the VW scene not long back, based on Mk4 Golf estate I think. Wouldn't be to everyone's taste (stances etc) but was very well done from what I remember, a very good build.

Unfortunately as is mostly the case with these conversions, they haven't gone through the appropriate IVA test and aren't road legal.

I am fascinated by the thought process that must have gone on: "just one more teeny sticker will make it even better..."

If the front splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler and wheels were all painted black it'd look decent

Yup, some choice satin blacking would sort that out. I'd do the little canards in front of the rear wheelarches too.

So I have been mooching around for an old Passat parts car and this has been popping up on Autotrader for the last 2/3 months... Can't tell why it hasn't sold.

Spotted in the car park of a council HQ.

I can't think of anything that screams 'I've got no idea' more than this.
I'm pretty sure this car is fairly local to me, there can't be more than one out there right?
