That should be a hanging offence. furious
Seem to be well known for making some absolute st heaps.
Not really though.

This has a fully spaceframed kit-car chassis under it which retains all the original suspension geometry.

Originally it was running a V8 but they've plumped for a Mazda rotary instead.

We're trying to pursuade him to roof chop it to make the proportions a bit better.

At the end of the day it was a very cheap stripped shell.

judging by the CB handset hanging down and the extra whatever-they-ares on the dash and windscreen, this may also be one for the "Misfits, Dad's Army Types.." thread in the lounge as well.

You look at the car's interior and think "How can I improve this?" and jump to the conclusion that covering the center console in garish colours is the answer. I would have fixed the seat bolster that looks like a dog has attacked it.

Found this poor MX5 residing near to my sister's new house. Couldn't help but giggle at it. Naturally had stupid camber on the rear with almost bald tyres. Obviously a drift-wep but still a bit tragic imo.

IIRC this has been on here before - it was an absolute basket case unable to be salvaged.
I was under the impression these were completely different cars. The red drift e-type you were thinking of is a hard top, the one above is a coupe.
ok I'm likely due a parrot here but what's the diff twixt a hard top and a coupe?

Dibs on the parrot when you've finished with it.

At a guess I'd say coupe is a coupe and hard top is a convertible with a winter hard top?

As I understand it a 'hardtop' is a removable roof/rear window on a convertible.

I would describe the Jag pictured above as a 2+2 coupe, as it is the longer wheelbase version with a higher roof-line and would originally have had four seats.

not sure what that mess is under the rear bumper.
A "simpler" rear splitter and I'd REALLY like that....

"I have been approached by a couple of businesses to advertise their company (scratchchin) as vehicle really does stand out and attract a crowd! One company was pest control due to its "ratlook" and other was scrap car collection company."

There appears to be 2 other abominations just out of shot as well.

One positive is you'd be able to ignore the rusty arches typical of the Puma.

I was going to say same. No need to "create" a ratlook on a Ford Puma, it will generate one all on its own, especially in winter time when one day the arches are there and the next they're gone and you have a small pile of tin dust sat on top of the tyres hehe.

Pipey is brilliant at what he does so i'm not entirely sure you actually know who he is or what's gone into that car.

He built this FFS: http://www.speedhunters.com/2016/06/when-two-becom...

No stance, just a W8 K70 on some steelies which in my opinion as awesome!

That is one of the best retro builds I've ever seen. Aside from the seats - but they're being replaced.
