What's that whirring sound I can hear???

Oh, it's just Henry and Charles, spinning in their graves.

At least he's registered the 3.0 litre diesel conversion with DVLA.

Original (seized) engine and oily bits included too. Possible to save it and return it to being a 'Rolls Royce'? Would it be worthwhile getting a pukka coachbuilder to knock a decent body together? Any chance at all of saving it and it being financially worth doing the work?

Such a shame it's gone the way it has, as it's now a RR in name only. £22,500 is daft money too, to own something that looks like a Toyota powered pigeon loft.

I'd love to see the MOT testers face when that turns up!

Agreed. I suspect the chassis and many of the original parts are still worth good money.

If the project was for sale at a reasonable price (<£10k) it could be a reasonable start point for a project, maybe with a rolls royce Meteor... wink

That's almost worthy of a "you know you want to" shout...

On the basis of the advert description, I'm guessing it has FSH and a current V5, could be wrong though.

Price might be a little optimistic?

Not really badly modified, in fact I liked it as did the 20+ people who stopped to take pictures ( very sad you'd never catch me doing that!) I didn't know where else to post and it's not going to be everyone cup of tea.
