What a heap

Oh look another picture of a car on air ride sat at it's lowest setting.

Far from a heap!

The car was for sale recently:

Hmm... Chris Bangle and Pininfarina needed this chump's help to get the thing right at long last?

I'd like to know why it needs a strappy/clip thing to hold the bumper to the wing.

That's the bonnet though surely? Those Fiats have a huge clam-shell style of bonnet.

Not that that's an excuse; however ghastly the body mods, it has been done to a good standard. The rubber strap/clip is out of context.

X-Type spot yesterday evening on the way to the pub. Maybe a bit cruel, but even as a colourblind person, I find these wheels ghastly:

WTF?? What's the angle with this? Why would you do it to this car?? Is it one of those charity rally things (I know an X-Type can be picked up fairly cheap these days)?

Colour scheme and looks aside that appears to be a rather serious bit of kit. The advert claims it's a 2.4L with a Garrett GT30 developing 400HP.

Some might say that there is only one thing worse than buying a Toyota IQ and that is instead buying an Aston Martin Cygnet. Well you're wrongyes

It's buying an Aston Martin Cygnet and getting it chrome wrappedlaugh

Annoyingly had to put this in the good plates thread, 'cos it's got a good plate:

It drove to the show that low as well - the arches and wheel rims are knackered from the slightest bumps...
Well i dont dislike it but if it a diesel or something else equally inadequate then its just not cool at all!!
It's on air ride suspension so the ride height can be adjusted whenever. I think I'm also right in saying its a V10 AMG so not a diesel! I've seen this car a couple of times and I doubt the arches will be knackered seen as it's brand new and on air...
I hope I'm not due a parrot here - but AMG don't do a 10?
I'm sure they do 8's and 12's but no 10...
Sorry you're correct. It's a V8 bi-turbo AMG, but still not a diesel. It's also a company demo car (not sure if I'm allowed to say who's it is). Personally I like it and the camo (and wheels I think) is only a wrap.
Well with that in mind I love it, not sure if I could bring myself to be seen in it though.....
It looked a lot better when it was yellow, when I saw it in March, the wheels were also nice back then. Really don't like it as it is now.
