Personally I agree.

The biggest problem with "Lambo Style Doors" is that they are not scissor doors as found on top end V12 Lamborghinis at all. Rather than opening upwards in a single motion as on (for example) an Aventador, the doors open slightly outwards in the normal hinge plane and only then you can swing them up. In other words they are as a point of definition : a bodge. Ergo anything that has them is badly modified as the job has been done with a cheap kludgy bolt-on shortcut to avoid doing the job properly (which would call for a large amount of bespoke modification to the doors, frames and pillars). The practicality or aesthetics don't come into it - anything with those daft hinges on is by definition eligible for the thread...

soapbox

Meanwhile, cars with factory scissor doors are every bit as cool as dihedrals and gull wings (and for that matter, suicide doors too). As [usually, but not always] are fully bespoke custom cars which have been expertly crafted to do non-standard doors properly.

I would say just weight the thing in to put it out of its misery, but I don't think they pay much for filler and plastic

Hmm, 10 owners in 13 years, no MOT since July 16, most probably clocked looking at the mileages between MOTs.

And:

BAD POINTS

AIR SUSPENSION INACTIVE BUT NOT GOING DOWN AT ALL - STILL DRIVES PERFECT By perfect they mean like a turd

ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT ON (YELLOW) DUE TO DECATS - EML light on due to engine being f*****

ABS LIGHT ON DUE TO FAULTY ABS SENSOR - borked brakes

A FEW SMALL STONE CHIPS AT FRONT OF VEHICLE - ok

A FEW SMALL THINGS THAT ARE EASY TO FIX - but not that easy else they would have been fixed. Any bidding is over £7k already!!!

I don't get the "Drive it like you stole it"

If I'd stolen a car, I'd be droving carefully and considerately so as to not draw attention to myself.

I suspect that's not what the owner of this has in mind
