A remap and a st bonnet. Yeah, of course he spent £50k That is probably just a 2.5 cossie, iirc there were 500 of each evolution made and they go for about £80k on the rare occasions they pop up. You can obviously buy the kits for them fairly cheaply, I prefer the look of the evo1..

I dunno, I prefer the looks of the Evo II, it's almost as good looking as a Sierra Cosworth. Edited by s p a c e m a n on Saturday 6th September 19:21

I agree, that this is badly modified. It's not an EvoII Replica.... It's a 190e 2.5-16 (which would have been a lovely car) that has been fitted with a Reiger 'Evolution III'(as they chose to call it) bodykit. Then someone has put silly wheels on it, fudged around with the suspension and added 2 massive tailpipes, oh, and 'crystal clear' rear lights.
I'd say its a badly modified car for sure.

Taken from a poster on a Ford forum who went to Trax at the weekend. Evidently Lambo effect doors are making a comeback in "the scene" again, so this person decided to fit them on a Mk2 Focus RS
They're not really my thing but no way in a million years would I say that's badly modified.sday12 said:
So I'm thinking - "That's got to be an OLD photo, surely, with a Datsun 240Z and a Mk1 Cavalier in the background?"So I checked. DVLA reckon the last tax for that registration number expired in November 1981. The car was first registered in May 1980.
The engine is a bit of an eye-opener, though. Registered as a black Jaguar, but having a 7,400cc petrol unit! That must mean it's a big block 454 cubic inch Chevrolet V8, running at somewhere between 390bhp and 450bhp in standard tune. Perhaps not so much "badly modified" as "utter genius"?
Cant believe someone did this to a current shapes Jaguar XJ-L.....

Not badly modified to be fair. Looks like the work has been done to a very high standard so no way badly modified. What constitutes 'badly modified' seems to be a recurring theme on this thread. To me, and using the Focus above as an example, it's not the execution of the job ie workmanship (the Focus looks to be modified to a high standard) but the end result ie what it looks like. There are dozens of modified cars on the thread that appear to be well built but look cr*p to me (subjective of course)
