911's with Martini stripes are a bit special for me because, as a young boy of about four, my uncle bought a 70's 911 in white, with the Martini stripes. It could have been brown for all it mattered as I was a car obsessed kid but, it did look the part. And a rare sight too.
So, to see this is personally a bit disappointing as I would love to have seen it look like the one my uncle had:
But that of course is my own, sentimental opinion...
Nostalgia aside though, I'd be happy to have the stripes as they are but the big 'Martini' on the bonnet. A step too far for me.
Don't suppose you know where that ended up do you? Because I could swear I saw that parked outside the Jaguar dealership in Ascot tonight! I was on my pushbike so didn't have time to have a good look. So, to see this is personally a bit disappointing as I would love to have seen it look like the one my uncle had:

What's the difference between the thinking behind this and the Lotus Exige LF1? I'm struggling to understand why there isn't a pithy editorial and no real cynical comment about this car.
Agree people happy to knock Lotus. At least they're not selling the stripe kits separately. However it looks cool. Then I think anything with those stripes does, just look at the Williams F1 car.

I eagerly await the OPD-endorsed 'psychedelic' wrap and the 'pink pig' wrap, the Brumos wrap and of course the Jagermeister wrap.
Porsche already there mate (they never miss a trick), they did a special edition of the 997GTSin the states.Edited by canucklehead on Tuesday 10th June 17:07
Looks surprisingly good compared to this martini one, you can only imagine the type of full kit wker who would drive around in this

That is just superb! Not sure how many 930 Martinis were produced in all, but there was one featured in a classic magazine earlier in the yearSo, to see this is personally a bit disappointing as I would love to have seen it look like the one my uncle had:

I like this 911 personally, but maybe a bit OTT for popping to the shops.

Nope.
Porsche are trying very hard, but there's not a single variant of the 991 that i actually like. It's not an anti-Porsche thing, i like both the 997 and 996, but the 991 just does nothing for me.

No contest for me. I'd walk straight past the 991 and ask the dealer what his stock of used GT3's is, if i was in the market.

Wow that is utterly hideous, the Martini one looks ok in white but I couldn't live with it every day, and the aerokit rear spoiler is ugly, way too fussyLooks surprisingly good compared to this martini one, you can only imagine the type of full kit wker who would drive around in this
