What is it with the cupholders!? (Assuming the Scirocco R holders the same - total st.)

They don't actually hold anything.

They must be different, cup holders in the Golf are brilliant, it has retractable lugs that "grip" your cup firmly:-

Strange, the only thing I've ever had issue with is Red Bull due to the thin size of the can, with coffee cups you have to fight the bds to release when driving punch

Actually I lied.
The cup holders are probably the worst thing on a 650S.

Can you spot them?



They are tucked right under the center console, god knows how you are supposed to get a steaming hot cup of tea in and out of there without making a mess!

This is why mine just end up holding loose change.

Well you say that now Jocky but I'm sure you'd feel very differently if you had to suffer it, honestly the whole affair has left me quite distraught.

A little equivalent of a cheeky line for the Golf & the universe is someone's. Q would lust for one.


Shame a good car (or certainly good in most principles) is being trashed by all sorts of other stuff. However, that's the way of the world.
