Yup. Pissingly funny. All of a sudden he can suddenly string a coherent sentence together in English and has become the victim of assault by Broken Britain.

Witness legal aid in action.

Photographer: 'try and look sad for this photo. Er, imagine your Giro is late'
If you're suggesting a solicitor is attempting to pervert the course of justice in a high profile case by pretending to be his client on Facebook I would think again.
No idea, I don't have a Facebook. I was referring to the newspaper article where the text in captions that is attributed to the kid is very clearly not his words. Catagorically someone has briefed him what to say and coached him. Or even written the replies on his behalf. It is pretty clear from the level of language used that they are not his words.

You do something stupid and you're on social media then deal with the backlash.

Does he deserve death threats? No. Does he deserve a slap? Yes.

And you're more of a 'tard to bleat on about it.

He's also a coward for doing it during a Beetle race, i.e something that can't hurt him if a collision is made. Do it again during a truck race, Jack. I dare you.
I'd imagine with the mandatory roll cages etc his Polo would come off a poor 2nd best to those Beetles.

He is apparently proud of his 'colonies'.

I left wondering colonies of what?

He's blocked any comments on his Facebook page, except the positive ones from his idiot mates obviously. It does seem as though the local education authority are really struggling in Tonbridge though? I've never seen such atrocious use of the English language, as that displayed by these cockwombles.

Unfortunately I have, and it’s not atypical.

"This is Jack Cottle. I haven't yet had the opportunity to apologise to all the people and effort that was put in to organise the race. Due to
all of all the madness going on, and I guess I was still hyped up on adrenaline as it's not just going round the track that was a thrill, all the media afterwards has made my life so manic I haven't had the chance to sit back and think about what I have done. I am extremely sorry, i had no intentions of actually getting on the track. I thought i would have been stopped miles before, I guess I carried on because once I was in the pit lane that was it I made it, it was such a rush I could never of stopped to think I couldn't believe I made it! If someone flagged me down it would of killed the rush and put me back into reality and I would of stopped, but no one did It was a stupid thing to do there's no denying that, and I will regret the damaged it's caused for many years to come, at the same time it was still amazing haha! Come on who would of ever thought I'd manage to do what I did! Madness! In no way do I think it was the right thing to do, but I have to be honest, it felt amazing! Everyone should try and find a thrill in life that made me feel the way I did it was amazing, but maybe thrills within the law would be better! This really has made me take a step back and think! The sun did us over, they came into our house pretended to be our pals. Everything we said went in one ear and out the other. They made there own version of it and you all believed it. Saskia was never my girlfriend and i had clearly stated that to the sun reporters aswell! Sorry also for all my rude comments. But with what some of you have been saying, its made my blood boil as it would most of you. I dont take Insults very well. What i did was stupid but as bad as it is i did it in the safest way possible. One of the drivers in the race even commented on my page basically thanking me for the way I drove on the track, as it could of been a lot worse. I was very cautious of cars coming out of the pits checking numerous times and i stuck to the right hand side of the track letting faster cars pass on the left. I am very apoligetic to everyone this has effected, i never thought id actually be able to get any where near the track! If the event is this big why was there no security to prevent it, the only reason why i have acted up is cause people are acting like im hitler! Half of you hate me, half of you love me. I do live every day like its my last an i wouldnt change it for the world! Try living like it, your regret it later on!"

And a suitably pithy comment:

"Really? Sounds like he's still blaming the marshals to me. And somebody did tell him to stop - she was sat in the passenger seat screaming with terror...."

Which made me titter biggrin

Sounds like trying to avoid jail time.

A good few months being banged up, might..just might give him a sense of his actions having rather unpleasant consequences.

I do think its funny when he forgets who it is he's posting as.

The comment by the 20 something, who's so highly educated that he has letters after his name, yet can't string a single sentence together.

Chances are he'll get a slap from someone when he's next out and about in Tonbridge. His efforts at self promotion are bound to have pissed off someone and he's made himself a target.

The same people that thought this was all a marketing stunt are the same retards who think the above could have been written by a spin doctor.

The original video was vertical.... It looked st and only a fkwit would use a phone to take one.

The above 'sorry' has no punctuation and more worryingly no paragraphs ! No, failed, fkwitted, dumb arse, stupid of a retard lawyer would allow that to be submitted !

The guy has realised he has done wrong and is now back tracking. His life is only a forwards or backwards according to his 'likes' or 'dislikes - comments'.

Haven't visited his facebook page since it first happened, but my god he's certainly been doing some back pedalling and it certainly look like it's being done by a third party.

I really hope this doesn't somehow turn him into some nobby 'Z' list celeb now and the nation will have to suffer him on the next Big Brother!

He had plenty of time, most of which was spent gloating. I surely can't be the only person to remember that time?

Is that where people get locked-up in a building and are monitored constantly? Yes, I can see that happening

I think it would be a thicko lawyer who wouldn't throw in some deliberate mistakes. It's not like this lad has used his time in the clink to educate himself already

Even in his "apology" he is placing the blame on others.

I still have zero sympathy for him and I still hope MSV hit him hard; both to punish him and discourage anyone else from trying the same thing.

How can MSV hit him hard, though? What can they do? Ban him from their circuits? I'm not sure what the Police can do either, it's a private venue. His idiotic "yolo fk it lol" attitude is annoying but what can anyone, realistically, do about it?
I'm no legal expert so I can't comment with any certainty.

I can't see the "False Imprisonment" charge sticking; I assume that charge will require the cooperation of the female passenger and the persistence of the CPS. The former I can't see being interested and I have no confidence in the latter.

The financial claim against him seems more likely to stick, but he obviously isn't going to have £100,000. A prolonged financial deduction would be something though.

One thing that has occured to me is that it is a clearly stated term on each entry ticket about staying off the circuit (and that failing to do so will result in prosecution). As he has clearly failed to abide by the these terms (and I'm sure there is wording along the lines of "by buying this ticket you agree to these terms"), perhaps that is an option for charging for him with something?

The bigger problem I see now is what changes are going to occur in Clubman racing as a consequence of this. Long after his name has been forgotten I fear that we will be dealing with the repercussions of his actions.
