Did This Guy Really Drive On The Track During A Live Race?
Discussion
Well they've deleted a few posts on their FB pages but are obviously too stupid to hide their profile so I guess they're being inundated with angry messages and are fully aware of the ststorm heading their way.
Its in the daily mail today and one post on FB was that the Sun news were at the guy in the back of the cars house. I guess as they both work at the same place as well that is quite clearly posted on both their FB page that they'll probably get the sack too as the press will be waiting for them to go to work to try quote them.

We'll see how funny some people think it is when the nice, relaxed Open Paddocks at Club meetings are a thing of the past, because we all know how certain Circuit owners like to use a Sledgehammer to crack nuts...
Sadly the people finding this funny are not the ones who would be impacted.Martin4x4 said:
Get a grip. If this happened for real, we would be seeing photos and videos from spectators long before the driver got out of the clink on bail. Obvious fake is obvious.
Like this you mean?VW Polo, Fun Cup, Brands Hatch 2014
For all those posts on here finding it funny or admiring the guy for having some balls, go and spend an hour with John Surtees talking about the death of his son at Brands. All the safety gear and experience didn't stop a tragic accident.
Motorsport is dangerous, let alone alone having to deal with idiots like this who don't have a clue.
As many have said on here, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Clearly Brands need to review checking of paddock passes, otherwise why provide them to race teams. But in the end, the driver was wholly responsible for his actions.

Something very, very odd about this. Not that I don't believe a car was on track, but the silence is deafening from any parties worth listening to if something like this really did happen.
One in-car vid and one highly suspect Youtube video, no mention of it on the UKs biggest marshalling forum, no photos, very little discussion from anyone that was there.
The list of questions is much longer than any answers we have, the most obvious being what happened to them after?

We often complain when we have to show our ID and pit passes at meetings. Occasionally you meet to odd mini-Hitler but usually the circuit employees know who are genuine or not.
I initially thought it was a test day until I saw the second video from outside the car. Brands will be seriously told off for this. Regardless of the numpty and what he did, there is no excuse as to how the guy managed to get down the pit lane and pass the lights.
Sure, it was a club meeting, but if these scrotes did this during one of our races, my drivers would have lynched him!
What if he had caused an incident? As it is he had the race red flagged spoiling the meeting for the guys that had invested time and money into their track time.
Not funny, just incredibly stupid and selfish.

Can anyone see the female...she was quite animated in the original video, but in the one above I can only see the driver and no-one in the front passenger seat? Unless I'm blind of course!jmorgan said:
Apart from the frustration this must cause, it would have me out for blood, race ruined by people who put a lot of their time and money into this, I expect that is a big cost for some oik to get chased for?
Yes plus one !! Im feeling its fake ??? And if I caught a random car going round whilst videoing , l would of kept the camera rolling !!!And it all gets a bit fishy :S

Something about this (and a polo on a vw race) seems off to me.
