From the classics forum, the little coupe second from the left.

Could somebody with good computer skills blow it up a bit or hone in on it a bit. It's got us all stumped over there. confused

It's very Panhard, Simca esque but can't put my finger on it....do you know what year the photo was taken? I assume 50's?

Panhard was the first thing I thought, but image search came up with nothing like the front of it. I'd imagine it's late fifties or very early '60s.

OP when you psted this yesterday under a different title I went through all my guides (including voitures de collection des annes 50) and couldn't find it. It looks Italian to me for reasons I can't explain, but I concluded it's something rare - maybe even a special of some kind.

I tried checking the EXIF to see when the photo was taken but it didn't work for some reason.

Even though the proportions aren't entirely identical and the rear shape is wrong, if it were a pub quiz i'd say Porsche 356 and be content with my answer.

That low bonnet (for the time) suggests it's rear engined to me.

The plot thickens...

DB Panhard? You could get a low bonnet line with the flat twin engine.

I was going to mention a boxer engine, but couldn't think of any boxer engined cars from the era. Didn't think of a flat twin.

Hmm...

I thought that too, but Google didn't throw up quite the image I needed to compare....
