Was that a radical blasting past near the end?

Beautiful, beautiful car, with such a dirty noise.
Even the serene XJ's sound like a weekend hostelry when pressing on.
Which genius at Jaguar came up with that concept ?

I finally saw one of these in person in a parking lot. I knew what it was right away which is a good thing, but it didn't really impress me.

I hope it sells volumes, but it's not on my wish list.

Same here, I'm not saying that it's ugly, but not as good looking as the way people make it out to be.

Antisocial amounts of oversteer with these things.. Not that I'm complaining though, would have one over an M6 in a heartbeat lickwink

Good camera angle - shows off the F's panoramic roof to a tee.

Great write-up and vid.

I'm so happy that Jaguar built this car.

I enjoyed that article.

And bravo on nicely disguising a massive over correction, as your entry to the upcoming right-hander. wink

Nice video thumbup

Strange that only the left channel has audio, had one earbud in and wondered why I couldn't hear anything, swapped ears. there it is! Lovely sound too. Got to be the best sounding car in a long time.

I like the F-type... but that front end is just too bland for me... shame

That exact car was sat on my neighbours drive a few weeks ago. It's a good looking car even though I was disappointed at the time with the external noise and the front end, but 97k?

Seems to have character in spades, something sorely lacking in almost all modern cars.

I'd love one. But I couldn't ever envisage being in a position to spend £100k on a car.

Jaguar have nailed it with this car, the convertible is nice but the Coupe is stunning, from every angle, it sounds right and seems to tread the fine line between enthusiast and not offending more traditional Jaguar Sports/GT Buyers.

It is properly fast, and even if it isn't quite as quick as a GTR or 911 Turbo I wouldn't care, it is massively faster than I ever need to go, plus its quite a bit cheaper than a 911 Turbo.

My new lottery car.

Even the entry level V6 does 0-60 in 5 sec and 161 mph, think the presence of the faster models make us perceive the base model as slow and it isn't, cant find a 0-100 mph figure but must be 12 point something ?

Dear Aston, I have loved you for many years now but your super model looks are now starting to show there age and I'm starting to feel the urge to start flirting elsewhere! Hello Jaguar F-type, when did you say your bigger sister was joining us?

So come on then, Dan. What was your best time in the Jag?
