Funny, I've made one nearly identical to that but used U-bolts instead of splitting the wood in two.
The picture doesn't quite show it, but it's actually two pieces of wood, one longer piece which the go-pro clamps to, and a shorter piece which just holds it in place. That said, I have near-zero practical skills - I just provided the measurement between the headrest posts and my brother did the rest smile
