Wasn't the 6R4 engine used with a couple of turbos in the XJ220? And wasn't that very V6 originally a Rover V8 with two cylinders lopped off?

Great video and by chance saw an orange Metro 6R4 last week at the Tilford fete parked up, surrounded by gentlemen all having a good nosey at it, it had a lot of race scars but was fantastic.
I was and still am a RS200 man but all Group B cars are bonkers and fetching serious money now.

Loved the Group B era and was lucky enough to have seen it first hand. I remember Jimmy McRae's Rothmans Metro on the '86 Manx (in fact a friend of friend owns it now).

I'll also never forget that spark of Austin Rover ambition being extinguished in the 85 RAC when Pond had no answer for those pesky Delta S4s... Did someone say we didn't need forced induction?
