Spitfire.

The V12, supercharged one from Supermarine, not 4-cyl Triumph one. Or the beer from Shepherd-Neame.

VFR750R RC30.
The discerning bikers amongst us may give an appreciative nod here...
Always wanted one after reading a test rider said they wheely-ed over humps in the road where you didn't even know there WERE humps in the road! Should have bought one 15/20 years ago but too pricey now.

Honda CRX Vtec.
1990 model. Must be un-barry-ed, unmolested, totally original. Had one in 1997, 29k miles for £9k, sold it a year later for £9.5k. It was the one car I've always regretted selling.

Then I'd get in it and go buy an R8 whilst I was thinking what else to spunk it all on...

First car I would buy would be a mk2 lotus Cortina for my dad as he had one when I was very young we spent a lot of time working on it and bringing it up to scratch and he would most likely still have it if it hadn't been stolen and driven through a set of gates and set ablaze. I haven't the foggiest what I would buy for myself but have always hankered after a caterham so would probably start with that and move on from there

I think if I won big my first purchase would be a black Ferrari FF which I would use as my daily. Followed by LOTS of other stuff....

A powerful shed. Insert RSJs behind front/rear bumpers. Then the f******g idiots in my neck of the woods, and who can't read road signs, get in the wrong lane, and carve you up when they go where they shouldn't, are going to find me now on the same patch of road as them, instead of ME having to get out of the bloody way.

After that I'd have to stop with cars and look at a larger home with a serious underground garage to store and maintain all the old Ford's and Japanese sheds I'm about to buy.
Are you my mate Tom? Haha
Every time I have this chat with him he says exactly that!

Why is that so sexy? I haven't felt the same since I saw the 360 Spider's roof mechanism for the first time.

I suppose I'd have to get one of these as well:

Would get myself an NSX-R (NA1 and facelift) and then an R34 Z-Tune. Then get a 458 and 650S Spider, and a GranTurismo MC Stradale. Rest can follow later on.

If you knew about that R34 and it's history you would know that the one in the picture isn't a real Z-Tune but has all the body kit. It does however have more power than a standard Z tune anyway so doesn't really matter...

I would just drop my current rustbucket off to a reputable tuner to have it tidied up and fettled whilst I buggered off on holiday for a bit.

I would send my current and first car to Severn valley or fensport for a full ground up rebuild incorporating some mad power and breaking/handling upgrades
I'd then buy a gallardo superleggera to run as my every day car

Because you'd buy 15 Lambos etc straight away with nowhere to keep em?

One nice car, in my case I chose a lovely blue Bentley Azure, then a house with multiple garages, and then, and only then, once you have space to keep them you go and buy all the others.

Don;t get me wrong, I'll be having a 430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale, GT2RS, etc etc among many others when my numbers come up but this was a FIRST car thread.

A house with multiple garages would be nice

A house with a huge underground car park and a ramp round the back of the house in and out would be my dream
