Good luck in the new role.
Pistonheads is a very interesting brand and I imagine it'll be good fun taking the helm. Garlick clearly did a fantastic job and I'm sure I speak for us all when I say I'm keen to hear your plans.
Do you have a rough 'manifesto' of ideas you could share with us?
I hope you've raided the Marks and Spencers sale aisle for lurid coloured chinos to wear to PH events.

No manifesto just yet - at the moment I'm still at the stage where I'm desperately trying to remember everyone's name and work out the office etiquette on how many cups of tea I can accept without offering to make one in return (currently approaching double figures)
Regarding the chinos, I'll see what I can do.

What does a "Community and Marketing Manager" do in addition to what a Marketing Manager does?
Great question! Basically my role is focused on making the community larger, happier and more engaged. For the most part, this involves coming up with events, products and schemes that add value to you all. These have the knock-on effect of marketing PH - both because the community will be singing our praises to anyone who'll listen and because they'll be a great example of what we're all about. What does a "Community and Marketing Manager" do in addition to what a Marketing Manager does?
However, I'm sure from time to time I'll be employing some more mainstream marketing techniques to develop PH for the better.

What is your take on CSV James?
CSV? As in the relatively simple file format that is widely supported by consumer, business, and scientific applications and is commonly used for moving tabular data? I think they're brilliant and darn handy too.Oh no. You mean the other type don't you?
