Saw photos of it being there this morning, thought not much of it. Just seen this on facebook: http://www.autowereld.com/nieuws/spyshots/id/21449...

Not in English but it's safe to say somethings gone wrong... Hopefully no injuries.

Looks like they really are trying to compete directly with Porsche and Ferrari...

Doesn't look like any accident damage, but it's had a serious fire. Hopefully the test driver and passenger managed to evacuate without injury.

Driver and Passenger appear to be stood nonchalantly in the background so I assume they are fine.

With the help of google translate:

First, the good news or the bad news? Well, let's start with the first. We are happy to report that finally shot in the case of the new Honda NSX seems to come. Only we prefer communicated with other images.

Possibly it's the desired complex powertrain that the successor of the illustrious Honda NSX out rapidly approaching mid 90s wait. Similarly, the chances are very present that same technology has been the cause of this almost completely burnt prototype. But hey, it happens to the best if we are to believe, Ferrari and Lamborghini so let's here but no further attention to it. It's mostly good news that Honda in public again seriously shows interest in the long-awaited successor to its super sports cars of yesteryear. At the Nürburgring still, which is always a promising sign.
Complex powertrain
Just like the original - where racing legend Ayrton Senna still worked on it - is the new NSX a midship sports a V6 which plays the leading role. But only the engine does not stop there. The car also gets its power from two electric motors and among all those companies through a vending machine ensures the transmission to the rear and the front wheels. To how much power this complex leads powertrain is actually still guessing, but some sources are convinced that somewhere between 400 and 500 hp. On the one hand it must also, like the new Honda NSX dyed his slain rival, the (next) Nissan GT-R, plucky opposition can offer. In 2015 we hope to know how things really stand. Finally!

It has taken so long it is just in time to not be innovative in any way whatsoever.
