Should look interesting bolting them together beside the production lines in Shanghai, São Paulo or Bratislava.

The luxury market is starting to look crowded. Bentley sales growth this year is not as high as they expected (hence the layoffs). They need something new to keep volume growth going and the man in charge of the VAG parts bin happy.

I started writing something meaningful, but you know I really can't be arsed! Not surprised there's a cross-manufacturer, common-platform being developed for a sub-market I didn't know existed, or that was seemingly saturated but turns out not to be... it seems to be what German manufacturers are doing all the time these days and getting away with it. Someone's probably already said that, sorry for wasting time. And I've just sat here in my lunchbreak thinking about it for 15 minutes, that's time I'll never get back. I'm sure I'll mention it at the beer festival tonight...

Fingers crossed for something like a Weissmann with the Audi R8 V10 in the front (but the v8 would be OK with some nice fruity exhausts), combination of classic lines and big power and torwue to weight ratio. Front engine, 2wd (rear !) and keep it compact.

That said, I suspect it will be more like a Vanquish competitor (sporty GT) than proper sports/occasional track car!

Just get on an build it and see what everyone thinks.
