Harry Metcalf has just announced-
Great news that they will stay in the UK.
Bit of background from the DM, better than their usual stuff...

100,000,000 divided by 543 suggests he's looking for an average of nearly £200,000 per car. What a muppet.
ha ha ha - completely meaningless stat! Skewed somewhat by an XKSS a C-type and a D-type I think...And not so much a muppet, since the sale appears to have gone through!!!

i wonder what plans special ops has for them?
Stick CF body kits on them all and job them out? Stick SC V8s in them all and job them out?
Use them to work out how they used to be made and re-tool?
Just sit and look at them all day long and do bugger all work?
So many brilliant uses.

The owner struck me as the sort of chap who would have discounted if he liked who was buying his collection and what they were going to do with his lifetime's work/pleasure. And not so much a muppet, since the sale appears to have gone through!!!
I'm sure they will monetise their investment so it's great news for all of us.

I'm sure I can see an XJS estate in one of the photos. I would love to know more about that.
