No, I overtook in a two lane bit, it goes bck to one, then opens out again for the junction, I indicated and waited behind the one other car there.

Just seems bizarre, have, like most people done stuff and thought I could be reasonably be called a tosser, but this wasnt one of those occasions.

In all seriousness even if another driver is a tosser I'd recommend not shouting it out to the other driver - who knows what road rage you may encounter. Forget about it let him or her go.

You can pay £300 for a rusty 20 year old MX-5 and someone paying that much per month for a Ford Focus, who's opinionated but not knowledgeable , will see you as being bourgeois and flash and shout rude names at you. I once got stuck in Wrea Green near Warton in Lancashire when there was a running race going round the country roads and through the village. One of the bearded and sandal wearing marshals was taking great delight in holding up the traffic and shouting at motorists and he gave the driver of a Saab estate a bking for easing out of a junction and said he was a typical BMW driver. A lot of people have no idea about cars but think they know everything about other people by what they're driving and see it as an excuse to hurl abuse at them.
